This Thankful Thursday is a great one for me. This year has been hard financial wise. We have had our good times financially, but since literally the week Will was born we have been struggling. I stoped working to be a full time stay at home Mom and Wife. This brought us down to one pay check. As the economy went south, so did Hubby's pay check.
Last year Hubby took a new job. Making less per hour, but with the promise of raises in the future that would get us where we wanted to be in the long run. This meant we struggled like never before this year. Hubby even changed his tax status, so that we would get a little more each check. Because of this, we knew there was a chance we would have to pay taxes this year.
Hubby came home with a his head hung yesterday. He handed me his W2 and just knew this was going to hurt us. I told him not to worry. The Lord was good to us all year. We didn't go hungry and our lights stayed on.
I got to work on the taxes as soon as dinner was done. I finished today and found out we wouldn't have to pay!!! We even where getting a refund!!!! The Lord is so good!!!! We still have bills and we still have a smaller paycheck coming in, but we will be ok! Another year has passed and His love is felt! As He promised, He will always take care of us!
OH, that is wonderful. I'm so pleased for you both. I dread what our taxes will be next year, our first full year of marriage. With no child to get a tax credit, we might have to pay. I wish I could claim the cats and dogs.
Thanks for visiting my blog. This blog has been created to save my self from all the crazy voices in my head. The ones that say "Did you do that right?" "Should you have given him that third piece of candy?" and the loudest one of all "Are you raising him to be a good person or a spoiled man?" You can finde out about all my crazy problems being a mom to my one and only little boy.
Praise God for refunds!!! I hope we get one. I'm visiting from TT. Blessings
