Thankful Thursday~Freedom

Thankful Thursday is hosted by Lynn at Spiritually Unequal Marriage. Visit her and tell us what you are thankful for today!

Today I started thinking about what I was going to do this post on and it struck me that I could do it on anything I wanted. I had no limit of what I could say. I have the freedom to talk about politics, God, public things, or private things. No one was going to come and have me arrested or delete my post because of what I say. My only worry is bad comments left, and those I can delete:)

So today, I am thankful for that freedom. I am thankful to all the men and women who fight to so that I can keep my freedom. I thank God that I was born and still remain in the United States where I am free to chose my religion and talk about the politicians all I want. I am free to live how I want and make the decisions I want. I am free to write this post! I am free to get my self in dept or make bad decisions. I am free to marry the man I want to. I am free to be a parent to as many children as I can have or can adopt.

I am free and that is a big deal to me. Freedom is one of the things I have been given by God. How I use it is up to me. I try every day to use it wisely. How do you use your freedom?

  1. How easy it can be for us to take our freedom for granted. But not everyone has that freedom. I'm so glad to read your post as it reminds me to be thankful for freedom too.

    Blessings,
    Debbie

  4. and we are free to worship God and shout our praises to Him anywhere in our place..and not everyone is given such freedom. There are still lots of underground churches now a days and they long to have the freedom that we enjoy now..so yeah..let's use it wisely :)

    Blessings!
