Seeds!

It's almost gardening season and you know what that means!  Seeds!  I love to plant my garden.  Some people start buy plants already started for their garden, but not me!  I like to plant seeds in cups and then when they are bigger, plant them in my garden.

This saves me lots of money, and gives Will a lesson in how things grow.  I have been doing it this way for many years.  I never had a real garden until last year.  Hubby surprised me with one for our anniversary.  Before that I had just grew a few things in pots.

This year Will and I started two different kinds of tomatoes, bell peppers, banana peppers, and carrots.  (We didn't do to well with carrots last year, and I'm not having high hopes about them this year.)  In a few months we will also start some more peppers and zucchini.  I also have some strawberry plants I am itching to plant.

I can't wait until I can really get into my garden this year.  It makes me feel so good to grow my own things.  I like feeling the dirt and tending the plants.  It makes me feel that much closer to God!  And the feeling you get when you are harvesting your own vegetables is second to none!

  1. Josh check the zone for the carrots. I think you are starting them a little too soon. May be why you didn't have much luck with them.
    good luck
