I love to make memories for myself and my family. I have been obsessed with making memories for my son and capturing them in some way. I know he probably won't remember all the things we did when he's older, so I like to write it down, take pictures, video it, or save an item that reminds me of the event.
I have been lucky enough to review a great product that will be a memory for us as well as a keepsake. Creativity for Kids is a company that makes products for kids to boost creativity and imagination. They give you the supplies and your children create whatever their imagination can come up with.
They offer many different kit from creating your own books to a do it yourself art pottery studio.
I was sent the Festive Felt Stocking kit to review. This was right up my alley. My son loves to do art projects and he couldn't wait to do this one. I let him go wild with his decorating of his stocking. He wanted to decorate the big one and I was allowed to do the small one.
This is the end results. I did help him a little:)
We decorated both sides!

ReplyDeleteWhen I was young we had registers (heat vents) in the floors to the upstairs bedrooms. On Christmas Eve my brother and I always fell asleep on the floor trying to peek down and catch Santa arriving. LOL We never did- that sneaky guy was way too good! ;-) Now I wonder how many kids have set up video cameras trying to catch him!

I have so many favorite Christmas memories, but probably my favorite so far is our Christmas last year, because it was my son's first Christmas and I loved seeing his eyes light up and he even got involved with the unwrapping and it really made Christmas so much fun!

ReplyDeleteOne year at my grandparents' house, one of my uncles took a deer off the wall (big hunting family) and put a red Dixie cup on the nose and made it look through the window and the little kids thought it was Rudolph!
